The place does not seem like much, it always lives up to the expectations.

The parking is easy since it is located in a shopping Plaza, if you don't find up front then you can park in the back.

    The food is really good.
I have been here before and have tried plenty of plates. This time I order the fried mojarra, it was gigantic, comes with 3 sides of your choosing.
The flavor of the fish is good and they fried it to perfection.

Order yuca, fries and to stones which are super good as well.
The coconut lemonade was super good as well.

I have ordered empanadas and the bandeja paisa previously. The bandeja is really good as well, the chicharron is super tasty and crunchy. I ordered it with ground beef since it is easier to mix with beans and rice.

The service at this place it is pretty good. The servers are always walking around and ready to help. Never seen them not smiling.

El Balcon is a Colombian restaurant with a casual environment, friendly staff and pretty darn good food.  We were greeted with a warm welcome and seated immediately (we were 6 in our group).  Server was very precise in taking our order, split the check with no issues, and the food was served fresh and fast.

The portions are fantastic!! The menu has a little for everyone, and I'm sure you will find a dish you would enjoy.  Our group was very satisfied with our food, and one of our friends ordered an additional Arroz con Pollo to go to eat today.

They have fresh juices such as mango, passion fruit, and limeade (which we highly recommend). Make sure to get one; your lips will go wild over the freshness of the juice.  I don't think you w be disappointed.

They did a nice job renovating this restaurant. The interior is decorated nicely and is a lot more welcoming. I noticed a vast improvement in the food, both visually and in flavor.

The Bandeja Paisa is fantastic. A generous portion. It was delicious. We had empanadas and the ox tail soup. Everything burst with flavor.

Service was good. Prices are reasonable. They usually always have live music. A great spot for Colombian cuisine.

    Delicioso!
The food is authentic, full of flavor, and delicious. The staff is welcoming and helpful. I've been to two of the locations for this restaurant and my above statements apply to both locations.
The last time I went for breakfast, my boyfriend made a comment to our waitress after she asked if we enjoyed our meal. He commented that we were here for my birthday - our waitress was thrilled that we came to this restaurant to have breakfast, so she gave me an arepa to go. It was such a sweet (and tasty) gesture.

I come here every time I'm in the area and the food is always great.  Tried pargo rojo in my most recent trip which is a whole deep fried red snapper.  A little large for one person but I was up to the challenge!  I replaced the fried green plantain with sweet ones and also got broccoli instead of salad.  Fish was tasty though slightly salty.  Ordered a freshly squeezed lemonade mixed with red wine.  Service was great, multiple staff came by to make sure I enjoyed the food and didn't need anything else.
